Privacy notice
This notice covers visitors to rungwell.org, our clients’ staff, job applicants and anyone else who contacts us. People who work at Rungwell are covered by the worker privacy notice.
1. Who we are
Rungwell Inc., 3rd floor, 18 Tolland Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is responsible for the personal information described here. Our subsidiaries Rungwell Kenya Limited and Rungwell Philippines, Inc. are responsible for information about applicants to their centres. Our privacy officer can be reached at privacy@rungwell.org.
2. This website
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads nothing from other websites. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (address, time, page requested and browser type) for up to 30 days to keep the service secure; we do not use them to identify visitors. The forms on this site do not send what you type anywhere; they ask you to email us instead.
3. When you email us
We keep your message and our reply for as long as we need to deal with it, and for up to two years afterwards unless it becomes part of a contract or a job application.
4. Clients
We hold the names and work contact details of our clients’ staff to run projects and send invoices, for the length of the relationship and seven years after, as tax law requires.
5. Applicants
We hold applicants’ contact details, test results and interview notes to assess their application, for 12 months, or for the length of employment if they join us.
6. Client data
Data that clients send us to label is processed on their instructions under our contract with them, and is not covered by this notice. Questions about it should go to the client concerned.
7. Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted where we have no reason to keep it. Write to privacy@rungwell.org. We follow Canada’s federal privacy law (PIPEDA), Kenya’s Data Protection Act and the Philippines’ Data Privacy Act where they apply. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
