Rungwell has commissioned an independent review of its wellbeing program, as we committed to do in our Impact Report 2025.
The review will be led by Dr. Moira Galbraith, an occupational psychologist based in Vancouver, with Lucy Wanjohi, a counselling psychologist in Nairobi, and Dr. Carmela Robles, a researcher on labour and work in Manila. None of the three has worked for Rungwell before.
The panel will look at how the program is designed, how much of it labellers actually use and why, and the experience of labellers on sensitive-content work at both centres and at home. It will interview labellers, team leads, counsellors and managers, and run an anonymous survey open to everyone who works at Rungwell. Work done under client confidentiality agreements will be reviewed in aggregate.
The panel will report to the board by the end of the year, and we will publish a summary of its findings and our response.
“We asked labellers what they thought of the wellbeing program, and they told us,” said Dr. Siobhan Kerr, Head of Wellbeing. “This review is how we find out what we do about it, from people who have no reason to tell us what we want to hear.”
